We will be accepting Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance after October 5th, 2017. ABC Pediatrics is not affiliated with Mission Hospital's billing department.  See below for more detailed information.
ABC Pediatrics will celebrate Labor Day  on Monday, September 4th. We will be open for sick clinic only between,1:00PM and 5:00PM. Please call to make an appointment on that day.
2017-18 FLU Shots should be available SOON. Please check back as we will update website and facebook when vaccines arrive.



As many of you are aware, Mission is negotiating with Blue Cross and Blue Sheild of North Carolina to renew their commericial and Medicare Advantage contracts. This includes employer-sponsored health plans, the State Teachers and Employees Health plan, and health plans purchased by the Health Insurance Exchange. Blue Cross has offer Mission a 0% rate increase forever. They are negotiating for a mid-single-digit rate increase to help cover the rising cost of drugs, medical supplies, and employee wages. Without thses increases, your well-being and care at Mission Health System is put in jeopardy, along with the long-term viability of Mission Health System.

Mission has created a website that will keep you updated with changes and well as answer many questions that you may have. What will help the most is for you to call your BCBS insurance carrier and ask them to please renegotiate the current contract with Mission.

As of July1, 2016 you will be required to provide us with a copy of your Private or Medicaid Insurance card. Be sure to bring it with you when you visit our office. If you do not have your card you will have to reschedule your visit.

Appointment Times are Changing!

We have a new check-in system called PHREESIA. When you arrive at our office you will be given a tablet to register your visit. The first time through, it will ask ALL of your demographic and pertinent information. In future visits it will ask you to respond only to changes. Because of the time it takes, we are requiring each patient to be at our office 15 minutes prior to the designated appointment time. However, if you arrive 15 minutes after your appointment time, the front desk will have to reschedule your appointment.

It is so important to keep those visits on time that we ask each of you to be early.
