 MRSA infections

Methicillin-resistant Staph aureus (MRSA) infections have been in the news in our area recently.  Infections with this bacteria are not new.  However, the degree of media attention to this infection has increased many parents' concerns about risks to their own children.

Parents voice a number of concerns about the safety of vaccines.  At ABC Pediatrics, we strongly believe that getting your child immunized on time is essential to maintaining not only the health of your child but also the health of the community at large.  For further detail on our vaccine policy, click here.

 Schedule your child's checkup

We are scheduling checkups for spring and summer.  If your child will be attending kindergarten this year, or if he or she will be needing a sports physical, please consider calling soon to schedule a well visit.

If your child has a problem that you feel should be discussed with your pediatrician sooner than their well visit, we will be happy to see him or her specifically to address this problem.

We do schedule well visits 3-6 months in advance.  If you plan ahead, you can be sure to get your preferred date and time.

We have been very busy at ABC Pediatrics!  Since we feel an obligation to take care of our current patients as best as possible, we are not taking new patients other than newborns at this time.  Please check back to see if this changes in the future.

Newborns

We are accepting newborn patients at ABC Pediatrics.  If you would like to schedule a pre-natal visit, please call our office.  Otherwise, we will see you after your baby is born!
