Dr. Harris grew up Greenville, South Carolina. She earned both her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of South Carolina (go Gamecocks!). She completed her pediatric residency training at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center in Memphis and a fellowship in pediatric hematology-oncology at Children’s National in Washington, D.C. After training she practiced for several years in pediatric hematologist-oncologist in Chicago and Asheville.  

She and her husband have three children, and when not busy with them, she loves to read, bake cupcakes, and shop consignment sales
