Online Scheduling

We are excited to offer our patients and their families the opportunity to self-schedule online for sick visits. We believe this is a great chance for parents to have more flexibility in scheduling a visit when their child is ill.

At this time online scheduling is limited to medical problems we can address in a brief visit. To ensure the best possible care for your child, we ask that you call our office to schedule an appointment for behavioral health issues, chronic issues or acute injuries.

Tips for Online Scheduling

In order to access our self-scheduling, you will need to be an existing patient. If you are not an existing ABC Pediatrics of Asheville patient, read more about how to Become a Patient and call our Triage nurses at (828) 277-3000.

If you are an existing ABC Pediatrics of Asheville patient and do not have portal access, you will need to "Create an Account". Register here.

Log into the Patient Portal
Once in the portal, click the “Appointments” tab in the left sidebar menu.

3. Click the “Schedule Appointments” button in the top right corner of the page.

4. Select the "Reason for Visit" from the dropdown – we are currently only allowing online scheduling for sick visits.

5. Select the date you wish your child to be seen – we are currently only scheduling 48 hours in advance.

6. Choose the available provider and time for your appointment.

Note: Athena will only show providers your child has already seen. If you do not see an available provider, scroll to the bottom of the page and click the blue “Discover other providers from NC – ABC Pediatrics” to see more available providers at our office.

7. Once you have selected an available provider and time for your appointment, please enter a brief description of your child’s symptoms in the “Additional Notes” field and click the blue “Schedule Appointment” button.
