Become
a Patient
We are glad you are considering bringing your child to us for medical care! We know choosing a pediatrician for your family is a big decision, and we are always honored when a family chooses us.
Becoming an ABC Pediatrics of Asheville Patient

All prospective families begin by calling our team of triage nurses. They will take some initial onboarding information and answer any questions you might have. You can reach our triage nurses at (828) 277-3000.

Meet the Doctor

We have a dedicated team of medical professionals who are committed to providing the best possible care for your child. Our providers are committed to utilizing evidence-based best practices for every recommendation they make for your child’s care. For expectant parents, we offer “Meet the Doctor” appointments. At these appointments, parents are given the opportunity to get to know one of our pediatricians, so you will be comfortable at your child’s first visit.
Transferring to ABC
We are now open to new patients! For patients who are transferring to our practice, we will need a copy of all vaccine records and any available medical records (if you have any questions about our vaccine policy, please click here). Our team can reach out to your child’s previous pediatrician to request a copy of those records. We will need a medical records release form signed by a parent to make this request. You can come into our office and sign one in person, or print it from the Forms page on our website and send it to medicalrecords@abcasheville.com.

Patient Expectations

At ABC Pediatrics, we believe regular visits with our experienced physicians are essential to your child’s health. By getting to know you and your child, our providers can deliver the highest level of personalized care. We encourage all parents to schedule annual wellness visits so we can support your child’s health and development throughout the year.
If your child becomes ill or has a minor injury, please call our office first to speak with a triage nurse. They can help determine the most appropriate level of care and advise you on appointment availability before you consider urgent care or the emergency room.
