Dr. Love grew up in western North Carolina. He graduated from the NC School of Science and Math and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His medical training was at East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine, followed by pediatric residency at University of Wisconsin-Madison Hospital and Clinics.

He returned to western North Carolina with his wife in 2003. They have two children. A former rugby player, in his spare time he enjoys a variety of outdoor activities including trail running, hiking, mountain biking, fly fishing, and skiing.
